Hanover Hospital’s Intermediate Swingbed Unit, formerly Hanover Hospital Long Term Care Unit, has a tradition of personal and professional excellence. The Swing Bed unit provides a comprehensive range of medical, social, and personal services designed to meet the needs of all the residents.
Laboratory
Centrally located in your community is the one place for solving common medical mysteries: your hospital’s laboratory. Our lab is capable of providing all the screening and diagnostic testing needed to keep you healthy and find out what’s wrong when you aren’t.
Occupational Therapy
Occupational therapists and occupational therapist assistants work with people of all ages to gain the skills that are needed for independent and satisfying lives. They assess and treat a patient’s physical and mental skills to help them develop the “skills for the job of living”.

We partner with Holistic Pain Management to provide pain management treatments close to home.

Pulmonary
We all lead busy lives, and we need to take a break. Go ahead, take a deep breath, hold it for a count of four, and exhale slowly. Feels good, calming, doesn’t it? If it doesn’t, maybe you should make an appointment to see our Pulmonary team and get checked out. They can evaluate you, diagnose your condition, and provide treatment or therapy.
Speech Therapy

Your hospital’s surgical team consults on the need for surgery and also performs a wide variety of diagnostic testing and procedures that remove disease, repair injuries, and promote health and healing.
Swing Bed
Our Swing Bed Program provides rehabilitation and recovery services for patients who need time to rebuild strength following illness or surgery. The goal is to help patients return home and live independently or with the help of community resources.
