Your hospital’s surgical team consults on the need for surgery and also performs a wide variety of diagnostic testing and procedures that remove disease, repair injuries, and promote health and healing. Typically, they focus on diseases or injuries of the abdomen, breasts, digestive system organs, and endocrine system glands. Given our rural location, they perform surgery only once or twice a month.
